The WGDSI-1 report below summarises where we are up to in the DSI discussions.
The annex of the document contains each of the points that are to be discussed in the IAG. Hopefully this doc gives readers a good idea of where things are at and have developed since COP15 Decision 15/9 (December 2022).
KatieLee is a member of the Working Group and notes the number of elements that sit within the “need for further discussion” categories. These in particular are the parts where we have not seen agreement between parties and will be discussed over the year ahead of COP16.
If you have any thoughts on these points please let us know so that KatieLee can bring them to the table! Unfortunately the IAG has some strict confidentiality conditions so she will be unable to share anything from the process until it is released.
